Professional Leaders Program

What is the program?

The Professional Leaders Program (PLP) is a 5 month program designed to both complement and build on the skills developed through the LG Professionals, SA Emerging Leaders Program (ELP).  The ELP primarily focuses on building the interpersonal and people skills required by professionals whilst the purpose of the PLP is to develop analytical capabilities in areas such as: legislative context, finance, operations and strategy.  Please note that you do not have to have completed the ELP to participate in the PLP.

Executive Education at the University of Adelaide provide three 2-day modules which focus on;

  1. Financial Management
  2. Operational Excellence
  3. Strategic Management
LG Professionals, SA delivers further content relating to the local government context.
