A word from the Acting CEO

Wow, I cant believe we are at the end of February already!

In case you missed it, we have announced the final speaker of our Annual State Conference program – Commissioner Grant Stevens APM LEM. In this session, Collaborating and building trust with our communities Commissioner Stevens will explore the role of emergencies in building/testing trust and share reflections and lessons learnt from his ongoing engagement with the South Australian community over the extraordinary events of the last year. If you haven’t already registered, I urge you to do so quickly to avoid missing out – there are only limited spaces remaining. Speaking of limited spaces, there are only 4 spaces left in this year’s Emerging Leaders Program!

The Call for Nominations for our Leadership Excellence Awards has closed and I must recognise all of our Award nominees. Reading the nomination list made all of us here in the office so proud of all the wonderful work you do. The judges will have a really difficult time with over 100 nominations, all of them so unique and worthy.

Please enjoy this month's edition of Leader's Connect and consider registering for an event or program - it is important to make time for you and develop yourself to your full potential for the benefit of our communities.

I look forward to seeing you soon!
