What does 2022 look like for you? Join us as we welcome Sarah McGregor, Liz O'Flynn and Kathryn Gallina as guest speakers for our Women's Network Forum '2022 - Renew U'.

Liz O'Flynn 
'Mindfulness - Part of your everyday'

Liz, Manager Training and Development at LG Professionals SA is passionate about making a positive difference. She’s a mindfulness practitioner with an international qualification in coaching, specialising in mindfulness coaching. Mindfulness has always been very much part of her everyday and being present underpins her unique and positive approach to life.

In this session Liz will lead us in a short ‘reset’ mindfulness meditation. This practice will provide an opportunity for you to observe and acknowledge our default of overthinking, and consciously create a little space to let go of what’s not serving you - any stress or distractions and open up to the important learnings and possibilities the forum has to offer.   


Sarah McGregor 
'
Wellbeing Essentials to Navigate a Brave New World'

Sarah McGregor is a Facilitator of Leadership Development and Certified Organisational Coach. She has experience in growing and establishing organisations and has worked across multiple industries globally with leaders at all levels in business. With an international background in learning and development she has over 20 years’ experience in a vast range of organisational practices. 

Sarah is passionate about developing and empowering women to become conscious, emotionally intelligent and adaptive leaders, through her 1:1 coaching and group programs. This involves helping women to develop greater resilience and supporting them to thrive in their lives and work. After 32 years of living with chronic pain, Sarah has navigated what it takes to create a life of balance, purpose and ease, which inform her practice.

In this session Sarah will share wellbeing tips on how to navigate this brave new world which we all face, including:

  • Adopting a holistic self-leadership approach to implement into your life, in order to create a RENEWED Sense of Purpose.
  • Establishing a balance between your heart and mind, to navigate pressures in your life and embrace life with a RENEWED sense of calm and ease.
  • The foundations to establish a more conscious and RENEWED way of living. 


Kathryn Gallina 
'My Story'

With over 20 years’ experience working in Executive and Senior Management roles across private, public and 'not for profit', Kathryn is trusted as a strong, passionate and authentic leader with a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience. 

In 2020, Kathryn joined Alexandrina Council in the role of General Manager, Wellbeing following the completion of her contract as General Manager, Strategy within the Youth Justice portfolio of the Department of Human Services. Prior to that she was Executive Manager of People and Transformation at the Royal Society for the Blind. 

With a strong focus on engaging and empowering people, she is driven to design, lead and implement programs of work that navigate disruptive change, implement new systems and embrace growth opportunities for the benefit of the future workplace and broader community.

In this session, Kathryn will share her career journey so far, her leadership philosophy and the importance of trusting your intuition and empowering one another as women in business.
