A two-day program for reconnection, reflection and renewal.

The program for experienced senior local government leaders seeking to expand their thinking and leadership impact

Program Overview

This isn’t just another training program. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters for your leadership.

Amid constant demands, we rarely stop to consider who we’ve become and where we’re heading. XLP – Connect invites you into a space of trust, curiosity, and growth. You will be surrounded by others who care deeply about how leadership evolves in complex times.

You might be returning after a previous deep leadership learning experience or arriving curious about what leadership could look like next. Either way, you’ll be surrounded by people who are thoughtful, open, and ready to lean into the future with you.

Whether you’re navigating change, seeking clarity, or simply craving meaningful connection, this is where it begins again.

Suitable for

XLP – Connect welcomes leaders who have undertaken significant development journeys and those ready to explore the next horizon of their leadership. A space where XLP Alumni and new faces come together to learn, reflect, and shape what’s next in leadership.

Over the two days you will

  • Reconnect with the principles that have shaped your leadership and explore what’s next
  • Engage with emerging ideas on leadership and agency, acting with intention in complex systems
  • Make sense of shifting contexts such as AI, geopolitics, and culture
  • Reflect on personal and organisational transitions through a human-centred lens
  • Stretch your mindset in a safe, energising environment, discerning what to hold, release, and embrace.
