Local government General Managers/Directors tackle numerous competing and at times conflicting tensions in their role. With the changing nature of the local government sector, increasing expectations and recent local government elections how do we break through the noise to focus, prioritise and deliver?

Do you recognise the below?

  • I need to drive large change initiatives over the next few years while also addressing the numerous day to day demands of the role. Sometimes these operational demands change off the back of an elected member or community request. How do I prioritise and focus on what matters, who matters and when matters?
  • Our new elected members (or even those re-elected)  are keen to make a difference. How do I manage these new priorities against the ever-present community expectations?

Join us and your Network peers as we explore these challenges, drawing upon the ideas and tips that exist across the network.
